Over the past semester, Cabelte established a partnership with ISPGAYA – Instituto Superior Politécnico de Gaia – in collaboration with Montana State University Billings (MSUB), USA, based on an international academic challenge.
This journey involved close support from our technical teams, including a guided tour of our factory, where students had the opportunity to learn about the production process of low, medium, and high voltage power cables. The aim was to develop a joint project with final-year Management students from both institutions, which was presented at Cabelte’s facilities at the end of July.
The presence of students from ISPGAYA and MSUB brought an international perspective, enriching the exchange of knowledge and experiences between academia and industry.
According to José Castro Oliveira, Director of the School of Business Sciences at ISPGAYA, it was a “unique experience” in which “Management students from both sides of the Atlantic were given the opportunity to put into practice all the knowledge acquired throughout their degree, resulting in a truly remarkable outcome.”
