The experience gained over the years by Cabelte, along with the establishment of a closer relationship with its customers, has allowed a gradual understanding in performance, seeking to offer greater value to end costumer.
This business area, under the supervision of the Special Projects Department, focuses on a turn-key approach, offering customized solutions related with products with high added value.
Electrical Power aerial lines
Regarding electrical power networks, Cabelte designs, develops and installs optical cables (ADSS and OPGW cables).
The Project involves the mechanical calculation of the line, sag and tension load in installation, accounting and choice of accessories, vibration studies and determining dampers location, calculating the electric field, in the case of ADSS cables placed in the neighbourhood of high tension lines, to determine the ideal position to minimize "tracking" effect.
The strain that the cable can be subjected in some kind of installations, as an example, on high and very high voltage aerial lines, and the need to ensure the optical integrity of the cable, requires tight control of all steps at installation, since unwinding up to putting the cable into service.
Cabelte, through an expert team, makes the supervision of installation in turn-key projects but also at customers’ support, when so required.
Cabelte implements structured networks in copper and optical fiber, performing the cabling network design, making the installation and necessary tests.
Customized Solutions
In particular sector of optical infrastructure, in which concerns cables, Group Cabelte has implemented particular solutions responding to requirements related to the need of reducing the time of installation and using existing infrastructures, such as pluvial waters networks, among others.
Performing optical connections and tests
Apart from making optical links, fusions and terminations, in many situations, Group Cabelte also proposes adaptations and even develops particular solutions tailored to the specific need of fiber storage, handling, maintenance and development of systems.
