Cabelte has developed expertise in the areas of optical and energy networks. These skills have been providing a constant evolution of its technical and testing methods.
The Group includes specialized technical teams to supervise installation and putting optical fiber cables networks into service, with value in the area of networks maintenance, diagnosis and repair. Also, developed expertise in the design, installation, supervision and putting into service high tension networks (insulated cables) in addition to the implementation of joints and terminations of insulated cables up to 84kV.
GENERAL OUTLINE
Cabelte currently offers to its customers’ engineering services in order to define the best approach and optical solution. The choice of the solution is based on detailed analysis of each customer needs, and the offer of materials and equipments is highly customised.
Cabelte is also prepared to carry out full monitoring of any optical network, having the means to carry out “on site” tests of:
- Optical reflectometers to measure the attenuation coefficient and losses in splicings
- Light sources and power meters to measure total attenuation of the connection
- PMD measuring, interferometry method
